Wanda Sue
Thomas
Jan 6, 1942 — Jan 15, 2026
Wanda Thomas, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on January 6, 1942, and lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the heart of her home and the steady foundation of her family. Her love was quiet but powerful - shown in her hugs, her smile, her wisdom, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her nurturing spirit, and warm presence left an imprint on all who knew her. She found her greatest joy in caring for others, offering comfort, and unconditional love through every season of life. Every lesson, every prayer, and every ounce of love will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is lovingly survived by her children: Lori Long (husband Anthony), Brian Thomas (wife Karen), Brett Thomas (wife Missy), and Kevin Thomas (wife Rhonda). She is also survived by her siblings Linda Lilly and Charles E. Brice, Jr. Wanda was a proud grandmother to April, Ashley, Josh, Luke, Julie, Trevor, Bryce, Jacob, John, Jenni, and Kelly each of whom held a special place in her heart. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother, a role she embraced with joy and tenderness. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ellis Thomas and son Keith Thomas. Wanda's legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape with her love, kindness, and example. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains present in the stories shared, the values passed down, and the love that continues to bind her family together. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
