Victoria
Martinez
Jan 13, 1972 — Apr 17, 2026
Victoria Martinez, 54, of Houston, Texas, transcended peacefully on April 17, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on January 13, 1972, in Cantón Cedros, Municipio de Anamorós, Departamento de La Unión, El Salvador, to Maria Guillermina and Eleuterio Maldonado. She later migrated to Houston, Texas, where she built a life centered around family, faith, and love.
Victoria was married for 35 years to the love of her life, Juan Miguel Martinez, with whom she built a beautiful family. She worked as a childcare teacher for many years and was known for her sweetness and caring spirit. People naturally gravitated toward her—she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, seen, and valued.
She is now reunited with many loved ones, and we know she will be welcomed with the biggest smile and open arms. Her love and spirit will continue to live on through her devoted husband, Juan Miguel; her children, Richard, Donna, and Karen; and her cherished grandsons, Richie and Edward, along with countless family members and friends.
Victoria's thoughtfulness was truly one of a kind. She believed in living in the moment and being grateful for every day God granted. She loved cooking and could make any dish special, always adding her secret ingredient—love—which made everything she prepared unforgettable. Her home was often filled with music, as she joyfully sang along to her favorite songs.
Her grandsons were her greatest joy and treasures, and she held every moment spent with them close to her heart. She also loved sharing coffee with family and friends, creating simple yet meaningful moments of connection.
Victoria's smile could light up any room, and her warmth had a way of calming and healing those around her. She was a woman of incredible strength and courage, fighting with everything she had for so long, all while continuing to smile.
To know her was to know a love so sincere. Victoria will be deeply missed. All who were blessed to know her will carry her in their hearts, always and forever.
