Sarah Lorraine Blackburn was born on November 19,1939 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harold Carpenter and May Ella Snowden. GOD called her to glory on December 17 th , 2025 in Houston, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, kindness, love and strength.

Sarah attended Allegheny High school and graduated in 1959 where she met her future husband Ronald Blackburn. She worked many jobs throughout the years but the most important was a homemaker and wife. She was a devoted and nurturing mother to her three children. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing, traveling, watching football and spending time with family.

Sarah is proceeded in death by her parents Harold Carpenter and May Ella Snowden, her sisters Gladys Parker, Miriam Williams and Mary Carpenter and her surviving sister Jane Haile.

She is survived by her three children Leslie Taylor, Ronald Blackburn Jr., and Tracy Blackburn. Her grandchildren Justin Taylor, Ashley Blackburn, Bryan Taylor, Shawn
Cobbin, Erica Blackburn and Taeleor Blackburn. Her great grandchildren Jonathan, Jevon and Jaiden Kirkendoll.
She leaves behind a hosts of nieces and nephews family and friends..
