Jason Clark
Gardner
May 12, 1978 — Feb 2, 2023
Jason Clark Gardner was born in Houston, Texas on May 12, 1978 and passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the age of 44.
Jason grew up in Alief and graduated from Alief Hastings High School. While in school, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Jason's Eagle Scout project was to collect and provide blankets, coats and food to the homeless in Downtown Houston, something he was very proud of. His project was even covered by the local news. After high school, Jason attended Texas A&M University. Jason had a great love for dogs and never met a dog he didn't like.
Jason is survived by his father, Robert Clark Gardner; step-mother, Deborah Pfunder, sisters, Lauri Littlewood and husband, Scott and Monica Stevens; step-brother, Kyle Pfunder; his devoted aunt, Mary Elizabeth Brown; nephews, Devon Ross and Jackson and Colton Littlewood; devoted cousin, Emma Curry along with numerous other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Billie Darlene Gardner along with devoted cousin, Alan Curry, who spent much time with Jason as he was growing up.
Gone far too soon but reunited with his mother and Alan in Heaven.
A small, intimate graveside service celebrating Jason's life will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 17th, 2023 at the Forest Park Lawndale Mausoleum.
Arrangments have been entrusted to Clarie Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
