Deputy Jonathan
Ramon Torres
Jul 24, 1991 — Mar 27, 2023
Jonathan Ramon Torres was born July 24, 1991, to mother, Maria L. Torres and father, Jorge C. Torres. He is the youngest sibling to Sara, Jorge and Claudia. Born and raised in Inglewood, California, the City of Champions. He was an honest, generous, loyal and resilient son, brother, father and warrior. Attending Centinela Elementary, La Tijera Middle school and Inglewood High school. Through life experiences, he went on to take charge of his and his family's futures by enrolling, then graduating from the Los Angeles Police Academy in 2016. His career led him to become a brave LA sherif deputy.
As a loving leader and provider for his family and servant of the community, he was the product of determination and hard work to overcome tough circumstances and challenging environments; he was truly an inspiring and compassionate champion, always to be remembered, loved and celebrated.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Natali Torres and daughter, Adalyn.
He enjoyed intelligent conversations, grilling, jiu jitsu, video games, family outings, 1990s rap, classic rock and spoiling his nieces and nephews every moment possible.
Jonathan carried with him a spiritual philosophy to life as a believer in one God, Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Challenged with cancer, he relocated to Katy, Texas, with Natali and Adalyn for further treatment and to settle down roots. On March 27, 2023, he departed this life 31 years young.
In the ways of Jonathan, he sought for us to celebrate his life, live peacefully and do the very best we can in all aspects of our lives.
