Audrey Jean Nelson, 93, was born January 13, 1930 and passed away February 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Foy and Lillie Reid; husband, Lester Nelson; daughter, Wendy Pope and son, Mark Nelson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Nelson and wife, Deb Richardson; granddaughter, Jennifer Loftin and great grandchildren, Evan and Payton Loftin along with many dear friends and neighbors.

Audrey loved gardening and was a Montgomery County Master Gardener.   She was also an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed painting and many other crafts.  Audrey will be missed by many.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the entire staff of Houston Hospice, most especially Chris Coshigano RN and Jason Fernandez MSW for their amazing, compassionate care.
